When I buy...

I buy big. This usually happens to me. I'm really good for a long time and don't buy any yarn and then I binge.

First I got some yarn from Abundant Yarn and Dyeworks that I've had my eye on since I first started going to the shop. Unfortunately the label is buried inside the ball but once I cast on The Little Guy's sweater I'll share the yarns info.



The second yarn was a big splurge but I've been wanting it ever since I heard about it. It's Louet's Mooi and it is 70% bamboo, 15% cashmere and 15% bison. It's lace weight so I won't be using this right away. I need to make a practice shawl or two before I can use this stuff.



The last item is more practical. I got the Knit Picks interchangeable needles in their Harmony wood. I actually think they're rather ugly but I prefer knitting with wood needles to metal. I can't say I'll never need to buy needles again but hopefully it'll be a little while.
