Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

Tomorrow's play group is a cookie exchange so this evening I made banana chocolate chip cookies. I took a chance and substituted apple sauce and butter for the vegetable shortening.



They don't look too pretty but they taste good.



I don't know enough about baking to know exactly how to get the cookies to come out as I want them. Next time I'll try substituting the vegetable shortening with apple sauce and vegetable oil.
