Race for the Cure

Today I participated in the Portland Race for the Cure. Ok, so for me it was the Walk for the Cure. I joined a team sponsored by Knit Picks. I didn't take many pictures because I was busy knitting.]



It's a chemo cap knit out of Knit Picks Wool of the Andes that I dyed myself with cherry and grape kool aid.

It was my first Race for the Cure and I really enjoyed it. I'll be doing it again next year. What was really exciting was the sheer number of people participating. This race set a record for attendance, not only in Portland but the entire west coast.
