Den Gamle By, part 2

Knitting, spinning and weaving were very important in Scandinavia in the past. All of the open air museums that we visited had exhibits that featured many of these. Almost every house had a spinning wheel.

Even the more wealthy homes had spinning wheels.



Knitting was also featured in many of the homes.



Dem Gamle By also featured a yarn making factory and a yarn dyeing factory.
