Boiling our water

The City of Portland issued its first ever boil water notice yesterday. And they issued it right in the middle of our Thanksgiving dinner. Nice.

Other then that, the dinner went really well. I feel like I passed some sort of right of passage. I am now more of an adult because I cook my first Thanksgiving turkey and it turned out really well. I have no pictures. You'll just have to take my word for it.

I don't know why I thought I'd post more this week. I cooked but didn't take photos. I find it hard to take pictures of food. That and Thursday's dinner wasn't a real success. The potpie didn't set so it was more like chicken soup with biscuits then pot pie. At least it tasted good.
