Don't worry, I have the same problem. I have a 2.5 year old boy named aidan and a 10 month old girl named adisyn and ornaments are not on my tree either. The lights on it are still VERY appealing to them. LOL

Truthfully, the ornaments aren't what the kids get excited about the tree for, eh?
Well, at least for The Boy, anyway. :o)

We got LED lights this year to protect little hands. They don't get hot.
In the end, I decorated the top two feet of the tree. The Boy LOVES the ornaments. They look a lot like toys. Little Miss loves the light.
