Ashland

We drove down to Ashland this weekend for our annual Oregon Shakespeare Festival fix. It’s a five hour drive, both ways. You know what that means. Knitting.

Before leaving I looked through my stash for some fun yarn to take with me. Here’s what I found:

and:

I forced myself to finish my chemo cap first. Fortunately it didn’t take me very long. I immediately cast on the dark red Kidsilk Haze (#595 – Liqueur). I’m going to make a lace capelet . I don’t have any progress pictures yet but I was able to get a lot accomplished.

Ashland was great! We saw Twelfth Night, Richard III and The Tragical History of Doctor Fautus. All were great productions. We did something a little different this time. We stayed at bed and breakfast called Night-in-Gail’s Inn. It was a wonderful place to stay and it was less expensive then the hotel we usually stay at. We’ll be back next year!
