Third Time’s the Charm

(I hope.)

I frogged Lady E earlier this week. It wasn’t an easy decision. I was almost done with my third ball of yarn. The fabric was too loose and the holes between rows were really big.

Before. This photo almost brings tears to my eyes.

After. The three balls waiting to be used again.

Now. Actually, I took this photo earlier and I’ve made some progress since then.

I’m using size 8 US needles this time. Lady E is a popular project right now and most seem to be using size 8 needles. I decided to skip trying out size 9 and just go with size 8. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I’m calling her Lady Eleanor the Third of Portland.
