Second times the charm
My second attempt at making No-Knead Bread was a success! I didn't even bother trying to bake my first attempt. After the first fermentation (rising) my "dough" was a liquid. I watched this great video and tried again.
I think the key is to hand mixed the dough. I used 2 cups of white flour, 1 cup whole wheat flour and dusted with wheat bran. It turned out pretty well. My most important critic, The Boy, liked it a lot.
I want to start experimenting! There's all sorts of variations on this recipe available on line. I borrowed a pan from my sister-in-law. First I need to get a dutch oven or smaller pan. I'd like the bread to be a little less flat.
