My Last Clapotis (for awhile)

In typical fashion I was finishing LA's Clapotis on the way to the airport. I was dropping stitches in the car. Sigh.

Here's the best shot I managed to get in the car.

I can't really give final stats. It took 7.5 balls of Lang Yarns Merino Color on size US 6 needles. I'm not sure how long or wide it was. I didn't even have time to block it.

Comfy Socks

Now the Greg knows that he's getting them, I can post wip photos of the Comfy Socks I've been working on for him. They're from the first issue of Knitscene Magazine. I chose this pattern because I've never knitted socks before and this pattern calls for bulky yarn. Next I'll try a sock pattern in worsted weight and then move on down until I reach sock weight.

I should have better photos soon.

Stash Sunday

Happy Holidays!

This week's Stash Sunday theme is Purple. It's the first time I've particapted in this group. Here's my purple yarn:

It looks a lot more purple in real life then in this picture. I'm looking forward to next week since the theme is red although my post will be late. I won't have internet access on Sunday. I'll post my pictures on Monday.

We got a tree down

Greg came home today to find this out back...

Thankfully no one was hurt and only the back fence was really damaged.

Wintery Mix

It started to snow at about 1:30 this afternoon. If the wind wasn't blowing so hard we might get some accumulation.

Greg got some great shots of the house

The best time to get a picture of Sheba is to wake her up.

Long time no post

I don't think in process photos of Clapotis are that interesting but since it's been so long since I've blogged, I'll post some pictures of my current Clapotis in progress.

and

Since there are only 10 days until X-mas I'm only going to work the straight rows through the weekend. Then I'll start the decreases. Maybe I'll make a matching hat out of the rest of the yarn.

Back Work

I finished the back of Charlotte. I decided this was the back because there's a couple of errors. I just hope the front has fewer of them. The light is funny but the colors are pretty accurate.
