I knit a rainbow!

It took awhile but I finally finished my rainbow monkey. The pattern is Jerry the Musical Monkey by Rebecca Danger and the yarn is the Abi Grasso's worsted weight Rainbow and Clouds stripe. I knit this for my Monkey Girl's birthday but was a few days late.

I loved using the rainbow yarn. I could have continued knitting the body until I ran out of yarn. I didn't want to waste an inch so I didn't try to be all matchy with the limbs. I'm going to have to get this yarn again and knit something for me. The colors just make me so happy!

The white yarn is Lamb's Pride Worsted.

Seeing Rainbows

Today I received another lovely in the mail. My sock weight Rainbow and Clouds Self Striping yarn from Abi Grasso. I REALLY want to cast on a pair of socks right NOW!!! Instead I'm starting a monkey with the worsted Rainbow and Clouds yarn.

Beach Socks

The Fam and I went to the beach this weekend. I cast on another pair of Ampersand socks in Socks That Rock Medium weight on the drive there. As you can see I didn't get very far. I didn't even finish the leg. But the fun weekend more then made up for the lack of knitting.

This Makes Eight

I'm really frustrated with my current two socks so I decided to work on something else. A monster, of course! My eight one. This is Tony the Toy-Box Monster. He's knit in Cascade 220 Superwash I dyed eons ago.

We'll see how long it take me to finish this one.

Twins!

I FINALLY finished my Coco twins. I won't tell you how long the second one went armless and mouthless. Its too embarrassing. I am proud to say I used some REALLY deep stash on these two. The yarn is Annie Blatt Rustique that I bought about ten years ago.

And the kids didn't even let me finish my photo shoot before snatching them up to play with.
